Intermodulation Analysis

For each site, obtaining the pertinent data on all users' transmit and receive frequencies, completion of intermodulation product calculations and delivering a study showing the results and identification of any potential problems. AdGen can also perform the more detailed analysis. Normally it is not undertaken unless there are specific frequency interference problems at the site. The more comprehensive analysis involves calculating the intermodulation product signal levels as well as transmitter noise/receiver desensitization analyses. A report is prepared and delivered based on actual site conditions utilizing: a) manufacturers' transmitter noise and receiver de-sense curves, b) vertical and horizontal space isolation graphs and c) insertion and rejection losses for duplexers, band-pass/notch cavity filters combiners, isolators, pre-selectors, and other filter and multi-coupling devices.
